Spondylolisthesis
A Espondilolistese é uma condição médica na qual uma vértebra se desloca para frente em relação à vértebra adjacente. Dor crónica na coluna que se intensifica com a atividade física e pode ser irradiada para os braços ou coxas/nádegas consoante a região da coluna afetada; Rigidez na parte das costas afetada, especialmente após períodos de inatividade; Fraqueza nos músculos das pernas com alterações do caminhar pela instabilidade na coluna vertebral.
Risk Factors
Trauma ou lesões na coluna; Alterações congénitas na formação das vértebras podem aumentar o risco; Atividade Física intensa ou de alto impacto; Envelhecimento.
Protective Factors
Exercícios de Fortalecimento Muscular das costas e do core; Adotar técnicas adequadas ao levantar objetos pesados para evitar sobrecarregar a coluna; Optar por atividades físicas de baixo impacto que não coloquem demasiada pressão na coluna.
Treatment
Analgesia; Reduzir atividade física intensa ou limitar a atividade física a exercícios de baixo impacto em casos graves; Fisioterapia com exercícios específicos para fortalecer os músculos das costas e estabilizar a coluna; Em casos de espondilolistese grave ou quando os sintomas não respondem a outras formas de tratamento, a cirurgia pode ser considerada para estabilizar a coluna.
