Treatment
Painkillers and anti-inflammatories can help reduce pain and/or swelling; Exercises to strengthen the hand muscles and maintain hand function; Orthoses to relieve pressure on the joints and protect them. In severe cases, medical assessment and even surgery may be necessary.
