Intended use
Manumed active is a compression bandage for the wrist.
Indications
All indications that make it necessary to support the wrist with a brace or cushion, such as..:
- Wrist injuries, e.g. dislocations, sprains
- Wrist arthrosis
- Tendovaginitis; Tendonitis; Tenosynovitis
- Feeling of instability
Contraindications
- Skin diseases or lesions in the area where the support is used, especially with inflammatory symptoms (excessive heat, edema (swelling) or redness)
- Paraplegia and circulatory problems of the hand and forearm (e.g. in the case of diabetes)
- Lymphatic flow disorders as well as soft tissue edema outside the area of use
