Intended use
The medi Shoulder sling is an orthosis for the humeral joint for immobilization in the set position.
Indications
All indications where immobilization of the shoulder joint in internal rotation is required, for example:
- Non-operative in case of front shoulder dislocation/chronic front dislocation
- After rotator cuff reconstruction
- Strain of the acromioclavicular joint (non-operative, post-operative)
- Scapula fracture (non-operative, post-operative)
- Proximal humeral head fracture (non-operative, post-operative)
