Intended use
Rhizomed soft is an orthosis for immobilizing the carpometacarpal and metacarpophalangeal joints of the thumb.
Indications
All indications for which immobilization of the joint at the base of the thumb and the carpometacarpal joint is required, such as..:
- Rhizarthrosis / “Thumb arthrosis” / Trapeziometacarpal arthrosis
- Ligament injuries
- Irritation of the thumb joint
Contraindications
- Unstable capsule/tape device requiring secure fixation with a plaster cast
